The
United States is a melting pot of different cultures and people from all over
the world have made this country their home. Worth mentioning among these
people is the Middle Eastern community. There are a lot of Middle Eastern
people in Michigan and many of them are business owners. This fact has given
birth to the Michigan Middle Eastern Business Community which
often specializes in products and services related to the Middle East. Often
people from other parts of the world when they settle in the United States
still follow their own eating habits, culture etc. as this is possible in this
democratic country. These people often look for items from their own countries
in order to maintain their lifestyle. This is true of the Middle Eastern
community as well and the Middle Eastern business owners make sure that the
people are supplied with the items and services that they require.
One
of the specialties of Middle Eastern people is that most of them follow the
religion of Islam. According to their religious scriptures they are allowed to
eat meat which has been derived according to certain religious rituals. Such
meat is known as Halal meat which many Muslims find difficult to find in
Western countries. This is the reason that many Middle Eastern business owners
have opted to set up a Halal Restaurant
especially for the Middle Eastern and Muslim community.
